Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity working with early childhood and elementary-aged students as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a school-based setting. This role is ideal for professionals passionate about making a difference in students’ lives and building communication skills that foster academic and personal success. With a remote interview process and an immediate start, you'll be able to transition smoothly into an engaging, supportive environment.

Key Qualifications:

  • Hold a valid Delaware SLP license (required)
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) eligibility
  • Experience with pediatric populations and/or previous school-based assignments preferred
  • Strong understanding of individualized education plans (IEPs) and school-based documentation
  • Confidence collaborating with teachers, administrators, and families
  • Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide diagnostic and therapeutic services to early childhood and elementary school-aged students
  • Develop, deliver, and document individualized treatment plans addressing a range of communication disorders
  • Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with educators and families to maximize student progress
  • Maintain thorough, timely records compliant with school and state guidelines
  • Consult with staff regarding strategies and accommodations for students’ speech and language needs
  • Serve one school site, focusing on building relationships and consistency with your caseload
