Underwriter II

Emerge, a global talent solutions company, is currently recruiting Commercial Underwriters for our client.

Position Overview:
We are seeking motivated and detail-oriented Commercial Underwriters to support underwriting operations for our client's Transportation program. This role combines digital tools with traditional underwriting expertise to deliver exceptional service in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
Submission Management: Rate property and general liability submissions and ensure accuracy.
Agent Communication: Follow up with agents to gather missing information and provide timely support.
Report Analysis: Run required reports, including Hazard Hub, ISO, and Lexus Nexus, as part of the underwriting process.
File Management: Maintain complete and organized underwriting files.
Proposal Creation: Prepare comprehensive proposals for new and renewal business.
Loss Control Review: Analyze and interpret loss control reports to assess risk.
Pay: +/- $65,000-$75,00 BOE

Qualifications:
Atleast 2 years of experience in Commercial Insurance. One year of Underwriting experience is a plus.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
Independent Judgment: Demonstrated ability to work independently and make sound decisions.
Customer Service Focus: Strong relationship-building skills and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.
