The Scientist will support laboratory operations, technology assessment, test and evaluation, scientific testing, and laboratory process improvement.Note: This position is contingent upon contract award. Work Description:In support of a Federal Government client, the Scientist will support laboratory operations, scientific testing, technology assessment, test and evaluation, and laboratory process improvement activities. This role includes assisting with equipment calibration and maintenance, testing and implementing new technologies, collecting and analyzing data, and preparing clear written documentation such as templates, SOPs, reports, dashboards, and other deliverables. The Scientist will work with multidisciplinary teams, including data scientists, engineers, analysts, and other technical staff, to review scientific findings, improve laboratory workflows, and support mission-focused research and development efforts.Responsibilities:Laboratory Support, to include equipment calibration and maintenanceTesting and implementing new technologiesCollect, review, and analyze dataDevelop templates, SOPs, and other documentationImprove laboratory processesWork with diverse teams including data scientists, engineers, and analysts to review data and contribute to reports, dashboards, and other deliverablesRequirements:U.S. CitizenBachelor's degree in a scientific or technical disciplineExperience with laboratory operations, scientific testing, or research and developmentAbility to summarize scientific findings and communicate them orally and in writingFamiliarity with common laboratory equipmentProficiency with Microsoft Office SuiteStrong organizational skillsAbility to obtain a public trust clearance Preferred Qualifications:Experience with systems engineering and technology assessmentFederal experienceFamiliarity with data analysis and visualization toolsExperience with inventory managementBenefits:BluePath Labs offers a comprehensive benefits package.
