212165 - Test Technician

Chipton-Ross is seeking a Test Technician for a contract opportunity in Grand Prairie, TX.

This position is 100% onsite.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Performs a variety of duties in the electronic, mechanical, electromechanical, and/or optical areas. Constructs, troubleshoots, calibrates, adjusts, tests, diagnoses, and maintains equipment, components, devices, or systems. Works from schematics, engineering drawings and written or verbal instructions. Operates related equipment; conducts tests and reports data in prescribed format. Performs calibration and alignment checks; makes adjustments, modifications, and replacements as directed; prepares prescribed compounds and solutions. Should be comfortable fabricating complex electronics with small tolerances and Quality Inspection throughout the fabrication process. Preferred experience with Military Specification parts and ability to reference all required tooling for class 3 Electronics Fabrication. Preferred experience with J-STD-001 or IPC 620 certification.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
o Previous experience in Electronic Fabrication roles
o A completed and passed eye examination is required for this role. (this will be done during onboarding)
o Preferred IPC-A-610 and IPC J-STD-001 Certifications

DESIRED REQUIREMENTS:
o Hand Held Multimeter
o Oscilloscope
o Bench top power supplies
o Hand crimping too

EDUCATION:
Accredited HSD/GED

WORK HOURS:
Full-Time 4/10 work schedule 1st Shift
