Job Description We Are Seeking: Desert Hand and Physical Therapy has an immediate opportunity for a full-time Bilingual(Spanish) Medical Receptionist (required) to join our fun and talented team. Job Duties: Greeting patients and providing outstanding customer service Coordinating the care for each patient from initial evaluation to discharge Answering phones Electronic scheduling Data entry Verifying current personal and financial information Verifying insurance and maintaining authorizations necessary for care Maintaining patient charts and electronic medical records Collecting, posting, and depositing patient payments Faxing, filing, and performing any other duties as assigned Qualifications High school graduate or equivalent Must be bilingual in Spanish Excellent telephone skills Proficient in Word and Excel Preferred experience with Medical Manager, Medisoft, or other medical software Team player attitude, energetic, with a focus on excellent customer service Flexibility with hours Attention to detail Time management skills Organization and ability to multi-task Additional Information What you'll get: Compensation: $18-21 hourly Excellent benefits package, including 401k, health, dental, vision, and generous Paid Time Off Multiple opportunities for professional development, specialization, and leadership Employee discount plans Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Family-friendly work environment U.S. Physical Therapy
