Job Summary UC Health is hiring a full-time Pharmacist Coordinator for the Consolidated Pharmacy Services Center at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center. Location Cincinnati, OH, United States Responsibilities Coordinate the daily operations of all departmental services and programs, including pharmacists and technicians. Maintain staffing components within Medication Access Services. Assume responsibilities for other administrative and leadership personnel during temporary or planned vacancies in the area(s) of responsibility. Assign staffing duties and responsibilities; regulate staffing based on planned and unplanned needs; assist in scheduling staff department-wide. Assist in the development and implementation of policies and procedures relating to area of responsibility. Participate in the department's performance improvement process. Develop, prepare and maintain work/activity data and summary reports. Respond to the hospital's disaster plan. Interview and recommend selected applicants for employment. Assist in personnel orientation, training, and development. Contribute to the evaluation of personnel performance for professional, technical, and clerical staff. Qualifications Minimum Required: Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy; Preferred: PharmD and residency trained. Current Ohio state licensure as a Registered Pharmacist; Preferred Board of Pharmaceutical Specialties certification in specialty area of practice. Minimum Required: 1 year equivalent experience. Skills: perform work accurately with attention to detail within specified time periods; work cooperatively with health-system and pharmacy staff; handle frequent interruptions and adapt to changes in workload; set priorities and solve problems; respond quickly to emergency requests; communicate effectively orally and in writing; assist in meeting pharmaceutical care needs of patient populations served by the organization.
