Job Description

A shipping and receiving clerk handles incoming and outgoing packages in a warehouse. Job duties include tracking inventory, keeping accurate records, packaging and weighing items, printing shipping labels and postage, inspecting goods received for damage, and distributing products to other departments.

Responsibilities

• Track inventory and maintain accurate records.

• Package and weigh items for shipment.

• Print shipping labels and postage.

• Inspect goods received for damage.

• Distribute products to other departments.

Essential Skills

• Experience in material handling and inventory control.

• Proficiency in data entry and shipping and receiving processes.

• Ability to operate a forklift.

• Experience with RF scanners, SAP, and cycle counts.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• MRP Experience.

• Willingness to work overtime and handle 5 plus shipments daily in a fast-paced environment.

Work Environment

The work takes place in a machine and fabrication shop with tight quarters and a fast-paced environment. Work involves both indoor and outdoor tasks without a loading dock. The position requires availability for 1st Shift: 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM (Monday to Friday) with Saturdays involved, averaging 50 hours weekly.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $23.00/hr.
