Registered Nurse - Telemetry

Job Summary:
Provides specialized nursing care to trauma telehealth patients in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment. Ensures patient safety, monitors vital signs, and collaborates with the healthcare team to deliver exceptional post-acute and acute care.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and monitor patient conditions using telemetry equipment and electronic health records.
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions based on physician orders and patient needs.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary staff to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Provide patient education and emotional support to promote recovery and well-being.
• Document patient information accurately and efficiently in Cerner EMR system.
• Maintain compliance with safety protocols, policies, and industry standards.

Qualifications:

• Active RN license with at least 2 years of relevant clinical experience.
• BLS certification (required).
• Experience with telemetry monitoring and critical care procedures preferred.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Leadership or charge nurse experience is a plus.
