Registered Nurse - Med/Surg Telemetry

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night shift, 3 - 12 hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM.

Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Registered Nurse with a strong background in Med/Surg Telemetry. The ideal candidate must have recent experience and a passion for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. The nurse will be responsible for monitoring patient vitals, administering medications, and ensuring a safe, supportive atmosphere for patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate patient care in a Med/Surg Telemetry unit.
• Monitor patient vitals and respond to changes in condition.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Document all patient care activities in electronic health records.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 18 months recent Med/Surg Telemetry nursing experience.
• Current Ohio RN license or compact license required.
• American Red Cross BLS & ACLS certifications.
• Willingness to obtain NIHSS certification prior to start.
• Two recent references from management in the specialty area.
