CNC Machinist

Cnc Setup Person And Operator To set up and/or operate medium size vertical & horizontal machining centers and/or CNC lathes. Experience with CNC Mill / Turns is a plus. Duties of Setup Person: Set up and operate using work orders, drawings and programs. Optimize and troubleshoot machining processes Run precision production jobs, train operators to run the jobs that you set up Inspect precision work. Basic preventative machine maintenance Qualifications for Setup Positions: Be capable of complex setups with minimal assistance. (3 and 4 axis for milling) A minimum of 3 years setup experience. To read & edit programs. Fanuc/Yasnac controls To understand blueprints, geometric tolerances and basic machine shop math Duties and Qualifications for Operators: Duties are to productively operate CNC machining centers. Operators to be capable of operating the machines, making offsets, monitoring and changing cutting tools, understanding blueprints and work instructions, and measuring precision parts using indicators, mics, and the like.
