Program Assistant

Actively present and participate in Town Square member activities Assist in the facilitation of creative activity programs and encourage member participation Serve meals and snacks; assist members requiring help with eating; clear tables Prepare member activities as requested Actively contribute to creating and maintaining a clean, orderly, bright, and welcoming environment Assist members with personal care needs, including but not limited to assisting with walking, transfers, toileting, dressing, and showers Assist Program Manager and Center Nurse with duties as assigned Communicate in a positive, courteous, and professional manner with members and their families, co-workers, referral agencies, and the community at large Participate in staff meetings and in-service educational programs as needed; actively collaborate with cross-functional team, providing feedback and recommendations for enhancing the member experience and achieving overall goals and objectives Comply with company policies and procedures and safety and regulatory laws and standards This list of duties and responsibilities is not intended to be all-inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties or responsibilities that management may deem necessary from time to time. Requirements High school diploma or GED Strong communication and interpersonal skills Preferred prior experience working seniors and/or adults with special needs Able to work a flexible schedule Able to bend, pull, push, squat, turn, transfer, and lift 50 pounds; able to stand for an extended period while providing physical assistance to members Successful results of background check, physical, TB testing and drug testing #J-18808-Ljbffr Town Square
