Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Intermediate Care and Cardiac Telemetry for a position in the Coronary Care Unit at a healthcare facility located in Lewiston, Maine. This role involves providing care to adult and geriatric patient populations, primarily managing stable ST-elevation myocardial infarctions (STEMI) and post-cardiac procedures within a 20-bed unit. Candidates are required to bring their nursing license on the first day.

Job Details:

• Location: Lewiston, Maine
• Shift: Days, 10-hour shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification, at least 2 years of experience in cardiac or intermediate care units, strong cardiac and IMC (Intermediate Care) experience, Epic Electronic Medical Record (EMR) proficiency.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with stable STEMI patients, post-cardiac procedures, and medical intermediate care.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: This position is part of a unit specializing in adult and geriatric care, with patient ratios of 1:4 in IMC and 1:5 in telemetry, utilizing Philips monitoring equipment. The environment emphasizes flexible personality traits and adherence to scrubs dress code in navy blue.
