Kodiak Labor Solutions is hiring a Mechanical Superintendent for large ground-up data center new construction work in Richmond, VA . This is a strong opportunity for a field leader with HVAC, plumbing, mechanical construction, or MEP experience who wants major project work, strong compensation, excellent benefits, and long-term growth.
What You Will Do
- Oversee change-outs, retrofits, and installations for complex projects.
- Supervise mechanics, apprentices, helpers, and assigned trade/craft workers.
- Inspect work in progress and completed work for compliance with specifications.
- Interpret specifications, blueprints, and job orders for installations.
- Review and release shop drawings for timely installation.
- Teach and coach teammates to improve safety and productivity.
- Monitor manpower, tools, and inventory activities.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and manage project budgets.
- Ensure services meet contractual agreements and budget objectives.
What We Are Seeking
- 5+ years of industry experience, including supervisory experience.
- Experience with commercial, heavy industrial, data center, or mission critical construction preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of International Codes, HVAC, and plumbing systems.
- OSHA 30-hour certification and OSHA safety knowledge.
- Experience handling personnel issues.
- Strong mechanical, administrative, and analytical skills.
- Proficiency with computer, tablet, smartphone, Microsoft Teams, Procore, and BIM.
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred but not required.
Salary: $90,000 - $140,000 Annual
