Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent Job Summary We are seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our rehabilitation team in a permanent, full‑time role. This position offers a diverse mixed caseload, including hand therapy, outpatient adult rehabilitation, and inpatient skilled nursing facility services. The ideal candidate is patient‑focused, adaptable, and eager to work across multiple clinical settings while delivering high‑quality care under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist. Responsibilities Implement treatment plans developed by the supervising Occupational Therapist Treat adult patients with a variety of orthopedic, neurological, and functional conditions Assist with hand therapy interventions, including post‑surgical and non‑surgical upper extremity conditions (training provided if needed) Provide outpatient adult rehabilitation services focused on functional independence Deliver inpatient SNF therapy services, collaborating with nursing and interdisciplinary teams Monitor patient progress and communicate updates to the supervising OT Document daily treatment notes and patient responses in a timely and accurate manner Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, adaptive equipment, and functional strategies Maintain compliance with state licensure, facility policies, and payer requirements Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program Experience or interest in hand therapy, outpatient rehab, and SNF settings Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills Ability to work independently while collaborating with a supervising OT Competitive salary based on experience Comprehensive benefits package, which may include: Medical, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off (PTO) and holidays Continuing education support Retirement plan options Why Join Us?
