What You’ll Do Follow all safety, quality assurance, and good manufacturing practices (GMPs) Verify product quality standards including weights, coding, packaging, and labeling Maintain accurate production and quality documentation Operate equipment including Rothenberg, chipping, bulk packer, and rework systems (Melter/Sepamatic) Provide relief and support for machine operators throughout the department Assist as backup support for the Par Room Forklift Operator Help maintain cleanliness and housekeeping across the plant Support additional departments and positions as needed Compensation Compensation for this position ranges from $17.00/hour to $24.02/hour. Education, experience, and relevant qualifications will be taken into consideration. Demonstrate an understanding of the products manufactured and the processes involved. Ability to adapt effectively within a continually changing and demanding environment. Basic understanding of equipment operations, and minor troubleshooting ability. Must be able to demonstrate an ability and willingness to communicate effectively in order to maintain high levels of safety, quality, and efficiency. Ability to read and comprehend standard operating procedures and company guidelines in order to maintain regulatory compliance. Able to understand daily production needs. Demonstrate the Qualified Individuals responsibilities for the Preventative Controls Education / Experience High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED). Food manufacturing, material handling, and forklift operation experience is preferred. Must be able to maintain a valid forklift operator’s license.
