As a client-facing records management intern on our team, you will be responsible for organizing, maintaining, and ensuring the accessibility of digital records and preparing files for archiving, supporting operational efficiency and regulatory compliance. This internship program is designed to provide participants with hands‑on experience, professional development, and meaningful contributions to organizational goals. Interns will gain practical skills, exposure to real projects, and mentorship that prepares them for future career opportunities. You will apply experience in research, analysis and program management support to this position. You will work independently and as part of a team on multiple projects and adapt to new and changing priorities. This position supports building strong professional relationships to help drive client mission success. Work with us to help drive large‑scale business and process decisions through data insights. What You'll Work On Manage electronic filing system, ensuring documents are accurately filed and easily retrievable. Enter new records, update existing files, and track changes to maintain accuracy and integrity. Archive outdated records and oversee secure disposal of documents that have reached the end of their retention period. Ensure records comply with legal, regulatory, and Department policies and manage retention schedules. Track progress against performance measures, federal and state legislation regulations, and guidance. Compile relevant information in client‑ready format. Turn complex findings into crisp narratives and visuals for non‑technical stakeholders. Ensure all work complies with internal standards, security requirements, and government client expectations. Research various technologies that might help streamline the records management process. Develop a flowchart to help staff easily identify categorize and transfer records. Prepare and deliver a final presentation on findings and process. Join us. The world can't wait. You Have Experience using Microsoft Office products, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. Experience creating reports and presenting findings. Ability to quickly grasp and implement new concepts, frameworks, and technologies. Ability to collaborate effectively with peers, mentors, and cross‑functional teams. Ability to obtain a Secret clearance. Scheduled to obtain a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering by Summer 2028. Nice If You Have Experience ensuring work complies with internal standards, security requirements, and government client expectations. Knowledge of data science and data analytic tools. Ability to be articulate, organized, and professional when engaging with technical and non‑technical stakeholders. Ability to manage time effectively and adapt in response to multiple priorities and conflicting deadlines. Ability to pay strict attention to detail.Ability to efficiently achieve thoroughness and accuracy when accomplishing tasks. Possession of excellent analytical, problem‑solving, project execution, and time‑management skills. Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract‑specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $53,000.00 to $108,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
