CRNA Opportunity – McLeod Carolina Forest Hospital (Opening Fall 2026) Location: Myrtle Beach, SC – McLeod Health Carolina Forest Campus. Schedule: Full-Time 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM, 8‑hour shifts with call. Position Highlights Join a new hospital campus with a collaborative, team‑oriented environment. Work within a medical direction model alongside an anesthesiologist. Opportunity to help build and grow a new anesthesia program. New graduates welcome with structured onboarding and mentorship. Practice across a diverse and expanding case mix. Practice Environment 4 Operating Rooms Anesthesiologist on-site Dedicated anesthesia technician support Part of McLeod Health’s growing coastal region network – brand new hospital. Case Mix General Surgery Robotic Cases Orthopedics ENT Pediatrics OB/GYN Urology Call Schedule 1 weekday per week (with potential for 2 days) 1 weekend per month Key Responsibilities Provide general, regional, and monitored anesthesia care (MAC) across a variety of procedures. Conduct pre‑operative evaluations and develop anesthesia care plans. Deliver anesthesia care throughout the full perioperative continuum. Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and OR staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Manage safe patient transitions to PACU or appropriate level of care. Respond to airway and life‑support emergencies as needed. Support a team‑based, patient‑centered care model. Qualifications Must be a graduate from an approved school of Nursing & hold (or be willing to obtain) a current SC license as a registered nurse; a graduate from an approved Nurse Anesthesia program accredited by the AANA Council on Accreditation; must have successfully completed the certification examination administered by the AANA Council on Certification; must comply with the criteria for biennial recertification as defined by the AANA Council of Recertification; hold current SC official recognition as a CRNA. Experience New graduates are accepted and are encouraged to apply and will be considered if graduated from an accredited school of Nurse Anesthesia. Candidates must be able to perform all areas of anesthesia and be willing to work with anesthesiologists on a variety of cases. Experience with spinal anesthesia is preferred.
