Physician - Infectious Disease - 8 weeks PTO, large tertiary hospital, established physician team

Overview

Benefis Health System, a large tertiary center in Great Falls, Montana, is seeking an Infectious Disease physician to join a collaborative consultative practice with opportunities for outpatient work and telemedicine.

Responsibilities

• Provide consultative infectious disease care to hospital patients.
• Participate in outpatient and telemedicine consults.
• Collaborate with internal medicine residents, 3rd and 4th year medical students, and advanced practice providers.
• Engage in teaching and mentorship of trainees.
• Work within a hospital-based infectious disease service that serves a large tertiary referral region.

Qualifications

• Medical degree (MD/DO) with board certification or eligibility in Infectious Disease.
• Completed residency in Internal Medicine with a fellowship in Infectious Disease.
• Experience with inpatient consults and outpatient care; prior familiarity with telemedicine preferred.
• J1 sponsorship or H1-B transfer experience acceptable; immigration support available.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
