FT Production Operator 1st shift

The position reports to the Production Supervisor at the ABB facility in Pinetops, NC. Responsibilities In this role, you will conduct all activities related to the handling of parts and semi‑finished or final products in the warehouse or to/from the production line. You will be responsible for sorting, arranging, and transporting material, as well as picking components for dispatch and final packing on pallets. All activities will follow established procedures. Sorting and arranging material for storage as per guidelines. Executing routine activities according to established procedures. Picking components from stock for dispatch and final packing on pallets. Transporting boxes and performing other collection, storage, and warehouse activities. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Legal authorization to work in the US is required. Knowledge and use of tools – tape measure, calipers, grinders, or other hand tools, as needed. Ability to safely use a ladder while performing the job, as needed. Ability to lift, push and pull up to 40 lbs. Working Conditions Manufacturing plant environment requires hands‑on and technical tasks. Work may involve occasional lifting, climbing stairs/ladders, and walking. Employees may be required to bend, twist, or stand for extended periods. Frequent use of computers for data entry, monitoring, and communication is necessary. Personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, gloves, and steel‑toed shoes is required to ensure a safe working environment.
