Brooks EV is a family-owned authorized ICON EV and EPIC golf cart dealership. We need a manager who runs the front of the house like it's their own and grows the business when the floor is quiet.

About the Role

Run the Showroom

• Own the customer experience from first call to delivery: phones, walk-ins, follow-ups, all of it
• Manage the daily schedule of pickups, deliveries, and service appointments, and keep the team on track
• Guide customers through our carts, lithium upgrades, and accessories, because product knowledge is how we sell
• Set the standard for the showroom: carts staged right, packages sorted, workspace sharp, because you notice, not because you're told
• Manage front-office admin in QuickBooks and our other software, including invoices, records, and follow-ups
• Solve problems before they reach the owner, and flag the ones that should

Respond to RFPs & Win Business

• Find, track, and respond to RFPs and bid requests from cities, counties, schools, HOAs, resorts, and businesses
• Build the full response: pricing, specs, paperwork, and deadlines, submitted on time, every time
• Turn quote requests around fast and follow up until there's an answer
• Develop repeat revenue through fleet sales, service contracts, rentals, and lithium battery upgrades
• Track leads, bids, and results so we know what's working

Grow Connections

• Build real relationships with property managers, fleet managers, purchasing agents, community leaders, and local business owners
• Make outreach calls and in-person visits, and turn cold contacts into accounts
• Represent Brooks EV at chamber meetings, networking events, and community groups
• Stay in touch with past customers and partners so we stay top of mind and referrals keep coming
• Spot partnership and sponsorship opportunities and bring them to the owner

Social Media

• Keep our pages active with new inventory, customer deliveries, custom builds, and event coverage
• Shoot quick photos and video on the floor and at events
• Respond to comments, messages, and reviews fast, in our voice

Outdoor Events & Community

• Represent Brooks EV at outdoor events, festivals, community shows, and sponsorships
• Plan and run our setup: carts on display, signage up, booth staffed, leads collected
• Demo carts, answer questions, and follow up with every lead afterward
• Expect some evenings and weekends outdoors, in Florida weather

Who You Are

Required:

• An ownership mindset: you treat the business like your own and take pride in the space you work in
• A self-starter who sees what needs doing and does it, no checklist required
• Experienced leading a front desk, office, showroom, or customer service operation
• A natural connector who's comfortable walking into a room, picking up the phone, and asking for the business
• Organized enough to manage bid deadlines and paperwork without dropping details
• Very comfortable with computers, with working knowledge of QuickBooks or similar
• Comfortable posting to Facebook and Instagram and being on camera now and then
• A fast learner excited to master a product line and wear multiple hats
• Available Tuesday through Saturday (weekends are our busiest days), plus occasional events
• A valid driver's license, and able to be on your feet outdoors at events

Nice to have:

• Experience responding to RFPs or government/commercial bids
• B2B sales, fleet, or dealership experience
• Golf cart, powersports, or automotive background
