Surgical Tech - Certified Surg Tech

Certified Surgical Tech (CST)

Position is for a Certified Surgical Tech (CST) specializing in Spine, Neuro, and ENT procedures. The shift schedule includes 5x8-hour shifts starting at 0645, 0900, 1100, and 1445. Expect to handle 40-50 cases per day in a busy operating room. The case mix is heavy in spine, orthopedics, vascular, general surgery, and robotics. Preferred experience includes orthopedic and general surgery. Experience in a teaching hospital or trauma center is required. Candidates must be willing to work weekends as needed. The position may require on-call responsibilities as needed. All candidates must adhere to compliance items before starting onsite, including fingerprinting. General skills experience required includes crash cart knowledge, scrubbing, and aseptic techniques. Epic experience is preferred, and experience with XI robotics is a plus. The facility is an acute care setting with total staffed beds of 317. Candidates may float within the facility to meet needs but are not required to float to sister facilities. This position may include preferred experience with specific surgical procedures listed in the job posting. Candidates should keep in mind RTO restrictions; ideally no more than 5 days. References from a supervisor are required at the time of submission. Candidates must comply with fingerprinting and background checks as per state requirements.
