What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or vendors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access control practices, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observed activity and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency services when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouses, parking areas, and perimeter points to help identify unusual activity, damaged equipment, and/or potential policy violations.
• Monitor entrances, exits, gates, and restricted areas while following post orders for an armed assignment, helping to support authorized access and proper reporting of security-related concerns.
• Prepare clear, timely reports of patrol findings, incidents, and daily activities, and assist with following established procedures for deliveries, visitor processing, and after-hours operations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
