Direct Support ProfessionalNew competitive starting rate of $16.00 - $17.50 an hour!Do you want to make a difference in the lives of people with intellectual disabilities?Then we have the position for you!Full-time and part-time Direct Support Professionals are responsible for assisting individuals with acquiring skills of daily living, independent living, and social interaction in their residence and their community to become an integrated member of the community. Daily job requirements will involve, but not be limited to, preparing healthy meals, administering medication, assisting with bathing and hygiene, monitoring expenses, assisting with social and recreational activities, and maintaining a clean and safe home.Threshold has full-time and part-time Direct Support Professional positions available on all shifts.Full-time staff are eligible for benefits including medical, dental, vision, paid vacation and sick days, as well as a 401(k) Plan, Tuition Reimbursement, and paid holidays starting day one of employment!Overtime is also available (but not required) for those candidates who are interested.Threshold provides comprehensive paid training for all employees.
