Job Title: Project Manager 2 Location: Austin, TX DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES:Client requires the services of 2 Project Manager 2, hereafter referred to as Candidate(s), who meets the general qualifications of Project Manager 2, Project Management and the specifications outlined in this document for the Client.The Department of Public Safety (DPS) requires the services of 2 Project Managers hereafter referred to as Worker, who meets the general qualification of Project Manager, Level 2, Emerging Technology and the specifications outlined in this document for DPS.Various technology and innovation projects that directly impact the daily operations of DPS to achieve Agency missions, goals, and objectives.Scope of Work:Support current and future DPS projects and priorities in the initiation and planning of complex, diverse technology-related projects.Directly support project and development teams on various initiatives to improve agency effectiveness, compliance with applicable statutes, and enhance service delivery capabilities.Facilitate project development and quality assurance discussions.Deliverables:Manage projects utilizing appropriate project management methodologies, conducting risk assessments, and following established tracking and reporting guidelines.Monitor project activities to ensure deliverables are acceptable, meet business and contractual requirements, and are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.Communicate complex and technical business problems and requirements to agency stakeholders.Support development and implementation of various initiatives.SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum Requirements: 3 years of experience required in agile/project management methodologies and practices.3 years of experience required in leading large, complex technology-related projects.3 years of experience required in developing and analyzing complex business requirements.1 year of experience required in understanding software development lifecycles.1 year of experience preferred in documenting business technology challenges.
