Per-Diem Nurse or EMT - Occupational Health

Overview Occupational Health Nurse or Emergency Medical Technician is needed for a per-diem, long-term contract opportunity with Yoh’s client located in Novato, CA. This clinic offers occupational and preventative care for employees. Will assist with work and non-work related illnesses and injuries plus case management tasks. Schedule and Clinic Hours Schedule: as-needed to cover call outs and vacation coverage requests Clinic Hours: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm; Wednesday 12:00pm to 8:30pm Top Skills You Should Possess Active/unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN), Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN), or Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) license in California Minimum 3 years' experience as a medical professional Previous experience in Occupational Health, Employee Health, Emergency Medicine, Urgent Care, Primary Care, School Nursing, Family Medicine, and/or Corrections type setting Recent clinical experience and strong first-aid skills What You’ll Be Doing Assessment, triage, first-aid, and education for employee health concerns (injury care) including follow-ups Provide wellness materials/information for employee health concerns Coordinate employee new hire exams, medical surveillance, and exit exams Provide health and safety training such as ergonomics, BBP, hearing conservation, and hazard communication Coordinate regulatory testing (drug screening, hearing tests, respirator fit tests and medical evaluations) Administer medications and emergency care within legal scope of practice; assist First Responders in medical emergencies What You Need to Bring to the Table BLS certified Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work under pressure while also working autonomously Passionate about promoting health and wellbeing in the workplace Professional, dedicated, friendly, and helpful What’s In It For You?
