Description

American Traveler is hiring an Emergency Department RN for a 12-hour night shift assignment requiring 2+ years of ER experience and at least one prior successful travel assignment.

Details

• Emergency Department setting handling approximately 33,000 visits per year
• Main ER has 21 beds plus a 6-bed Minor Care (Fast Track) area
• Includes a Minor Emergency Care Unit (MECU), triage, critical care, and trauma care
• 12-hour night shift, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• May work 36 or 48 hours per week depending on department needs
• No floating or charge responsibilities required

Requirements

• Active NH or compact RN license required
• MA license required in hand, if applicable
• BLS and ACLS certification (AHA) required
• Minimum of 2+ years of ER experience required
• Must have successfully completed at least one prior travel assignment
• Must pass Tele/ECG and Medication competency testing
• Must provide proof of COVID vaccine plus booster and flu vaccine (medical exemptions allowed)

Additional Information

• Provide emergency nursing care across triage, critical care, trauma, and minor care areas
• Must live 50+ miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates not accepted
• Previous BILH employees (travel, perm, or per diem) must have a 6+ month break before returning to any BILH facility
• Must be clear the Wednesday prior to start date
• First-time travelers are not eligible for this position given the requirement for prior travel assignment experience
