Relay is a cross-chain payments protocol that provides instant low cost cross-chain bridging, swaps, and transactions. We're the fastest and cheapest way to bridge and transact across chains, serving over 5 million users who have completed 59+ million transactions with $6+ billion in volume across 85+ chains. Our company mission is to make transacting across chains as fast, cheap, and reliable as online payments. We are building the core infrastructure to abstract chains from end user payments, enabling the next billion users to experience the benefits of blockchain without the UX burdens.

We're looking for a proactive Business Development professional to expand our capacity and accelerate our go-to-market efforts. You'll own partner relationships from first pitch through signed contract and implementation, and serve as a steady point of contact for our most important accounts.

What you'll do:

• Own outreach to new leads and refine the pitch to prospective partners
• Identify and own partnership conversations, including technical topics
• Manage early proposal stages through to commercial contract negotiations and signing
• Work closely with product, marketing, data and leadership to smoothly move partners into implementation stage
• Support responsiveness and relationship management for VIP partners

About you:

• You have the ability to communicate complex ideas simply and clearly
• You thrive in fast-moving environments, have a growth mindset and enjoy taking ownership
• You proactively report on progress, risks, next steps, and you expertly manage various communication channels
• You're excited about crypto and blockchain, and the unique demands of building in the space
• You're based in the US or working in the Americas time zones

Skills and abilities:

• 4+ years experience in business or corporate development, growth or ecosystem roles
• Expertise in managing commercial relationships, including outreach and contract negotiations
• Experience working in the tech industry, ideally with blockchain exposure
• Strong proficiency in using AI tools for research, writing, organization and workflow automation
