Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, your role will involve the following key responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of children to determine their developmental needs.

  • Actively participate in the development and implementation of Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSP) tailored to the unique needs of enrolled families.
  • \n
  • Monitor and assess outcomes and progress, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to optimize care strategies.
  • \n
  • Provide hands-on support to families, equipping them with the necessary skills and information to enhance their child's development.
  • \n
  • Utilize evidence-based practices and adhere to Natural Learning Environment Practices to promote effective learning.
  • \n
  • Engage actively with children and families, building rapport to establish a trusting and healthy learning environment.
  • \n
  • Maintain compliance with all Federal and State regulations, ensuring the highest standards of care and safety.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on supporting young children, especially infants and toddlers experiencing disabilities or developmental delays. Through our Children's Services, you will work directly with families to foster skills encompassing physical, cognitive, social/emotional, and communication domains during critical early developmental stages. Your expertise in early intervention will be crucial in facilitating growth and supporting families.

Qualifications\n

To be successful in this role, you must possess the following qualifications:

  • A Master's Degree or Doctorate in Social Work.
  • \n
  • Current licensure by the Department of Public Health, with an active LCSW certification.
  • \n
  • A valid driver's license to facilitate home visits as needed.
  • \n
  • Skilled at tailoring approaches to accommodate various learning styles and needs of each child.
  • \n
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to facilitate effective family interactions.
  • \n
  • Remarkable organizational and time management capabilities to handle multiple cases effectively.
  • \n
  • Commitment to adhering to Natural Learning Environment Practices to ensure alignment with best practices.

Preferred Experience\n

Prior experience working with children in early intervention is highly desirable, specifically a minimum of one year. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply as this will enhance our ability to serve diverse families.
