The role requires current CDA, CPR certification, and familiarity with Quality Rated standards. Responsibilities Classroom Management Maintain a structured and engaging environment for two‑year‑olds. Ensure safety, well‑being, and supervision of all children. Effectively manage routines, transitions, and schedules. Lesson Planning and Curriculum Implementation Develop and execute age‑appropriate lesson plans aligned with curriculum goals. Incorporate developmentally appropriate activities that foster physical, social, emotional, and cognitive growth. Use creative, interactive methods to engage children. Developmental Assessments Monitor and document developmental milestones and progress. Use observation and assessment tools to tailor learning experiences. Communicate effectively with parents about development, behavior, and achievements. Compliance and Quality Standards Ensure compliance with Quality Rated standards, state licensing, and center policies. Maintain classroom cleanliness, organization, and safety. Prepare for Quality Rated observations and support accreditation goals. Leadership and Collaboration Mentor and guide assistant teachers.
