Under general supervision, handles daily receipt of merchandise received from vendor trucks by performing the following duties:

• May provide training to less experienced Receivers.
• Examines shipment for defects and shortages against receiving documents.
• Records factors causing goods to be returned.
• Unloads and moves incoming shipments to storage.
• Forwards approved receiving documents to appropriate department for processing.

Requirements: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and one (1) year of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
