Physician Assistant Physician Job In Florida Medrina is a large physician‑owned medical group expanding in Ocala, FL, and we are actively seeking a Physician Assistant (PA‑C) to join our Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R) team in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting. This role focuses on post‑acute and rehabilitative care, including orthopedic rehabilitation, stroke recovery, pain management, and medically complex geriatric patients. Position Highlights Full‑time opportunity Monday‑Friday schedule 'Round and Go' model No nights, no weekends, no holidays, and no call Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) setting Work alongside an experienced lead provider Full patient load from day one Key Responsibilities Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients in post‑acute and rehabilitation settings Manage orthopedic rehab, stroke recovery, chronic pain, and medically complex geriatric patients Perform admissions, follow‑up visits, and discharge evaluations Collaborate with physicians, therapists, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary care teams Maintain accurate and timely EMR documentation Develop individualized treatment plans focused on functional recovery and quality of life Required Qualifications Active Florida Physician Assistant (PA‑C) license Active DEA license or ability to obtain prior to start date Minimum 1 year of clinical experience preferred Experience with geriatric, internal medicine, rehabilitation, SNF, hospitalist, orthopedic, neurology, or pain management populations strongly preferred Ability to work independently and efficiently in a Skilled Nursing Facility environment Strong communication, documentation, and clinical decision‑making skills Compensation & Benefits Competitive compensation 401(k) Health insurance Malpractice coverage CME allowance Flexible scheduling and autonomy Ongoing mentorship and professional development Dedicated billing, credentialing, and administrative support National provider network and growth opportunities Physical Requirements Prolonged periods of standing, walking, and sitting while working with patients and computers Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Potential exposure to bloodborne pathogens and physical hazards Compliance with facility PPE and vaccination requirements About Medrina Medrina partners with care centers nationwide to deliver high‑quality rehabilitative and post‑acute care.
