Building Maintenance Technician
Our client, a leader in industrial and building maintenance services, is seeking a Building Maintenance Technician to join their team. As a Building Maintenance Technician, you will be part of the maintenance department supporting facility operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, problem-solving skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Building Maintenance Technician
Location: San Jose, CA
Pay Range: $22.30hr
Shift: 1st shift 8am- 4:30pm
What's the Job?
- Perform preventive maintenance on HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and building systems
- Respond to maintenance requests and perform repairs in a timely and efficient manner
- Inspect building and premises for safety hazards and perform necessary maintenance to eliminate such hazards
- Coordinate with external contractors for specialized repairs and maintenance
What's Needed?
- 0-2 years of experience in building maintenance or a related field
- Proficiency in the use of hand and power tools
- Basic understanding of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems
- Ability to diagnose issues and perform repairs independently
- Good communication and customer service skills
