As we continue to grow, we're looking for an Expanded Function Dental Assistant (EFDA) to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled clinical professional who wants to make a meaningful impact while working alongside providers to deliver exceptional patient care.

What You'll Do

• Assist office managers in supporting and supervising back-office employees
• Work chair-side with dentists, perform patient care, and general laboratory duties
• Take and process dental radiographs (x-rays)
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment
• Take impressions of the patient's teeth (models), extractions, composite fillings, etc...
• Teach patients appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health (e.g., tooth brushing, flossing, and nutritional counseling)
• Ask about the patient's medical history and take blood pressure and pulse
• Help patients feel comfortable before, during, and after dental treatment
• Provide patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures

Position Requirements

• Current CPR/BLS Certification
• EFDA LVL 1 Certification

$32 - $32 an hour
