Title
Operating Room RN - Specialty

Schedule
- Shift Length: 12-hour shifts
- Weekend Requirement: 2-3 weekends per month
- On-Call Requirement: Day-shift on-call, approximately 24-36 hours per month

Assignment Details
- Minimum Assignment Length: 10 weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week

Requirements
- License: Active RN license
- Certifications: BCLS
- Years of Experience: 3 years
- Required Experience: Level I trauma experience and circulating experience; trauma and neuro experience is required.
- EMR: Cerner

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in the operating room setting, ensuring safety and comfort.
- Collaborate with surgical teams to facilitate efficient and effective patient outcomes.
- Monitor patient vital signs and manage anesthesia during procedures.
- Assist in preparing and maintaining OR equipment and supplies.
- Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a sterile environment.

Compliance / Notes
- Drug screen required within 30 days of start.
- Documentation deadlines: compliance documents due approximately 10 days prior to start.
- Local hire rule: no locals within 100-mile radius; non-local driver's license required on file.
- Scrubs: Purple scrubs provided.
