Quoting Engineer

We are currently partnering with a Northeast Ohio manufacturing company on a unique Quoting Engineer opportunity that offers far more than a traditional engineering role. What You'll Be Doing Review customer RFQs, engineering drawings, CAD models, and specifications Evaluate manufacturability and recommend cost-effective production methods Develop cost estimates for metal stamping, fabrication, laser cutting, welding, assembly, tooling, and materials Analyze labor content, cycle times, scrap rates, machine rates, and material utilization Collaborate with engineering, production, quality, tooling, and purchasing teams Support customer discussions regarding manufacturing feasibility and cost considerations Track awarded business and compare actual performance against quoted assumptions Participate in continuous improvement, value engineering, and cost reduction initiatives What We're Looking For Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related background Minimum 3 years in manufacturing, estimating, quoting, process engineering, or cost analysis experience Ability to read engineering drawings and understand GD&T Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excel and ERP/MRP experience Experience in metal stamping, fabrication, welding, machining, assembly, or industrial manufacturing environments is highly desirable Why Consider This Opportunity?
