Hearing Aid Specialist
Responsible for performing exams, taking ear impressions, fitting, cleaning, adjusting, and ordering hearing aid products and supplies. Performs front desk duties, provides a high level of member service, and maintains our culture, core values, and ethics.
Job duties include achieving benchmarks and goals, mentoring employees enrolled in the Hearing Aid Apprentice Program (HAAP), providing prompt courteous member services, communicating with members via phone, performing administrative duties, assisting members with scheduling appointments, answering questions about products and services, device evaluation and services as allowed by state law, checking in and storing all daily receivings, performing Hearing Aid Dispenser duties, following safety and security procedures, traveling to assist other hearing aid departments, and ensuring proper procedures for cleaning and infection control are implemented.
