Description

The Production Specialist supports the day-to-day operational and compliance needs of the production department. This role assists with product testing coordination, production documentation, compliance tracking, sales force production tracking, and general production support tasks. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with spreadsheets, internal communication tools, and regulated processes within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role will report directly to the Production manager and work on-site at our facility in Riverbank, Ca. 

Responsibilities

• Submit product samples for R&D and compliance testing in accordance with regulatory and internal requirements.
• Track and receive laboratory test results, updating internal spreadsheets and records accordingly.
• Provide support with production compliance checks, including sending and responding to compliance-related emails.
• Assist with creating production orders on Sales Force for distro and manufacturing.
• Provide METRC support, including basic tracking to ensure all projects are accurately recorded in metrc within 24 hours.
• Print and organize product labels for production for jarred flower and manufacturing,
• Assist with bulk intake, verifying weights, tracking and receipting inventory on Sales
• Force
• Support manufacturing audits by ensuring documentation and records are organized and readily available.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure documentation aligns with internal procedures and regulatory standards.
• Communicate with production leadership regarding testing updates, compliance items, and production needs. 

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications
• Ability to read and write at a college level.
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Excel or spreadsheets.
• Comfortable using email and workplace communication platforms (such as Slack).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Ability to follow regulated processes and maintain organized documentation.

Preferred Skills
• Experience working in manufacturing or regulated industries (cannabis, food production, pharmaceuticals, etc.).
• Familiarity with METRC or other compliance tracking systems.
• Strong organizational and communication skills

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or listen. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, reach, bend, climb, stretch and lift 30 pounds. Requires the manual dexterity to use and operate all necessary equipment and hand tools. 

 
Work Environment: 
This position involves a fair amount of manual labor which requires repetitive tasks. This position operates indoors, which can reach different temperatures. This position may require working at heights up to or exceeding 10 feet. The Cultivation Department operates on weekends and holidays, and standard work hours may apply regardless of day or season.
