Trade Support Specialist

A growing alternative asset manager is looking to hire a Trade Support Specialist to their Credit team!

What You'll Do:

• Support Securitized Debt Desks for US-based PMs
• Product-specific experience in CLO, CMBS, MBS, ABS, and Agency/TBA securities
• Experience with derivative and credit products (futures, options, and CDS/CDX) a plus
• Perform mandatory daily functions, including: Create and review security setup, leveraged for downstream applications and Trade capture and processing across products, Trade validation and fails management with executing brokers and PBs
• Review and reconcile: Principal and interest payments, Factors, coupons, and accruals, Position and cash transactions across counterparties, PBs, and fund admin, Daily/monthly P&L calculations within PMS and FO risk platforms
• Manage asset servicing around lifecycle events such as factor paydowns, coupons, TBA pair-offs, and other relevant events
• Assist PMs/traders with research projects and inquiries
• Understand trading P&L calculations within the Portfolio Management System (PMS) and General Ledger

Role Qualifications:

• 4.5+ years of specialized experience in the products listed above
• Bachelor's degree
• Adaptive and flexible
• Professional, detail-oriented, and highly organized
• Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively
• Ability to work independently
• Adaptability in a fast-growing environment
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency with a variety of systems (Eze Castle, VPM, Bloomberg, Microsoft Excel, CTM)
