Fountain Inn, SC Area PrideStaff - Greenville is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented HR Generalist for a 1-year contract assignment with a leading industrial employer in Fountain Inn . This role was specifically designed for a professional who needs a non-traditional schedule. Whether you have children in school or other personal commitments that make a standard 8-5 difficult, this role offers the flexibility to work your hours within 1st-shift blocks (M-Th) while maintaining a professional HR career. HR Generalist Primary Responsibilities include:
Your main responsibility is the oversight and execution of site-specific human resource processes , ensuring administrative excellence and employee support.
- HR Systems Administration: Manage and administer key HR systems, including benefits administration and recruitment portals .
- Recruitment Support: Utilize people-management systems (such as UKG/UltiPro ) to assist in the site hiring and onboarding processes.
- Process Management: Oversee essential human resource workflows to ensure compliance and efficiency.
- Safety Coordination: Exhibit safe work habits and follow training protocols while working within a manufacturing or rail operating environment.
- Data Accuracy: Maintain precise records and evidence of administrative excellence within company-wide systems.
- Continuous Improvement: Assist in implementing new technology or processes related to HR administration and participate in lean activities (5S, Kaizen) as assigned.
- Experience: 0-5 years of administrative experience specifically in a human resources or manufacturing environment.
- Technical Proficiency: Evidence of experience with UKG/UltiPro or other people-management systems is highly preferred.
- Software Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Teams).
- Education: an Associate degree in a business-related discipline is preferred.
- Soft Skills: Strong interpersonal skills to maintain effective working relationships with both internal and external customers.
- Reliability: English language proficiency (written and spoken) is required.
