Travel Physical Therapist Opportunity In Alexandria, VA

Looking for a change of scenery and a chance to help others. Join our travel Physical Therapist team in Alexandria, VA working in an outpatient setting where you will help patients recover from injuries and manage chronic conditions while experiencing a new location. This role requires professional clinical judgment, patient-centered treatment planning, and documentation in accordance with regulatory and clinic standards. Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
• Active Virginia Physical Therapy license required prior to the start of the assignment.
• Minimum 6 months recent outpatient physical therapy experience required.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• Ability to complete comprehensive evaluations, develop and implement individualized treatment plans, and perform documentation including goal writing, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry according to clinic and payer requirements.
• Maintain professional licensure, meet state continuing education requirements, and adhere to discipline-specific practice act and codes of conduct.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in an outpatient clinic environment treating a broad adult caseload.
• Experience supervising or mentoring students and supporting student clinical education.
• Prior experience with safe patient handling programs and clinic performance improvement initiatives.

Assignment Details

• Schedule: 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM daily (5x8).
• Floating: May be required to float to other clinic locations as needed.
