Associate, Financial Services Practice

The Associate is a critical contributor to the recruitment process, responsible for identifying, recruiting, and vetting top talent. The Associate supports the Partner throughout the entire search lifecycle, including strategy development, candidate sourcing, screening, and client reporting. This role provides an opportunity to build relationships with senior executives, collaborate with leadership, and contribute to impactful recruitment projects while gaining deep industry knowledge and expertise. Responsibilities Search Execution: Create and execute multi-channel strategies to source candidates that meet client profiles and build talent pools for current and future engagements. Draft Confidential Candidate Reports (CCRs) and candidate reference reports. Participate in client kick-off meetings with Partner(s) and contribute to the development of search strategies and target lists. Conduct industry research to gain a comprehensive understanding of the client’s organization, sector, and role requirements. Initiate first-round candidate outreach, network with referral sources, and effectively communicate opportunities to potential candidates. Candidate Assessment and Reporting: Present qualified candidates to Partner(s) and assist in conducting in-depth interviews to further assess qualifications and fit for the role. Develop content for weekly client progress reports, including market intelligence, candidate assessments, and screening notes. Build strong relationships with candidates, guiding them through the recruitment process and facilitating client-candidate interactions. Data Management and Market Intelligence: Maintain the accuracy, quality, and integrity of all search-related information in Salesforce and other internal systems. Provide Partners with relevant market intelligence and insights on industry trends and challenges to support business development activities. Professional Development: Demonstrate growing expertise in the assigned industry or practice area. Continuously expand knowledge of the recruitment process and marketplace dynamics to enhance search outcomes. Ethics and Professionalism: Uphold high standards of confidentiality, professionalism, and ethical integrity in all interactions. Deliver high-quality work within tight deadlines while managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Qualifications 2+ years of experience in recruiting, sourcing, or related fields. Ability to adapt and excel in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. A positive, team-oriented attitude with a balance of confidence and humility. Required Skills Strong sourcing and outreach skills with 2+ years of recruiting or related industry experience (executive search experience preferred). Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients, candidates, and internal teams. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with exceptional attention to detail. General business acumen and understanding of key business functions (e.g., finance, IT, HR).
