Work Environment

This position offers a flexible remote work setting, allowing you to provide care without the constraints of a traditional office environment. Our outpatient office in Woodinville serves as a hub for collaboration and community connection, facilitating occasional in-person meetings and team gatherings as necessary.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough initial evaluations to assess patient needs and establish personalized treatment plans that guide therapeutic interventions.
• Deliver individual therapy sessions focused on helping clients manage and overcome mental and emotional challenges stemming from trauma.
• Develop and implement effective coping strategies to empower clients during their healing process.
• Facilitate educational workshops and discussions on stress reduction techniques and trauma management for both staff and patients.
• Monitor and document patient progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on feedback and clinical assessments.
• Collaborate with social service agencies, healthcare providers, and other community resources to ensure clients receive comprehensive support services.
• Maintain your National Certified Counselor certification through ongoing professional development and continuing education.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be working with patients who have experienced trauma and related mental health issues. You will play a critical role in their recovery by providing therapeutic support that addresses both immediate emotional hurdles and long-term healing strategies. By fostering a nurturing and understanding environment, you will help clients build resilience and regain control over their lives.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling or a closely related field.
• Valid Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) certification in the state of Washington.
• A minimum of three years of professional experience working with trauma patients, demonstrating proficiency in trauma-informed care practices.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems; experience with Salesforce is a plus.
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively engage with clients and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience

• Experience implementing evidence-based therapeutic approaches to support trauma recovery.
• Ability to utilize digital platforms for virtual therapy sessions effectively.
• Prior involvement in creating community outreach programs aimed at mental health awareness and support.

Compensation and Benefits
