Registered Nurse - Cardiac Cath Lab/EP

Job Summary:

Responsibilities:

• 
  Circulate, sedate, and document patient procedures in the Cath Lab, ensuring adherence to sterile technique.
  
  
• 
  Scrub and assist physicians during procedures such as heart caths, PCI, IABP, Impella, TCAR, EVAR, and venograms.
  
  
• 
  Prepare and maintain Cath Pre/Post Recovery area for patient turnover.
  
  
• 
  Operate Siemens EMR software and equipment to document procedures accurately.
  
  
• 
  Participate in on-call rotations, responding within 30 minutes as required.
  
  
• 
  Follow departmental protocols and safety standards to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Hold current BLS, ACLS certifications; AART credential preferred for Radiologic Techs.
  
  
• 
  Prior experience of at least one year in a Cath Lab or Rad Tech setting.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate proficiency in sterile technique and patient monitoring.
  
  
• 
  Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  
  
• 
  Excellent documentation and communication skills.
  
  
• 
  Willingness to participate in departmental orientation and continuing education.
