Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Night Shift, 12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a high-volume emergency room environment seeing 135+ patients per day
• Manage a 4:1 patient-to-nurse ratio within a 41-bed unit
• Care for a diverse patient population including Stroke, ACS, Diabetic, and AKD presentations
• Fulfill weekend shift requirements of 6 shifts per 6-week schedule
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams within a Primary Stroke Center and Accredited Chest Pain Center with 24/7 Cath Lab access

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) required
• Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) certification required upon extension

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior trauma nursing experience strongly preferred
• Experience working in a high-acuity emergency department setting
• Familiarity with stroke, chest pain, or NICU-adjacent care environments
