Job Description

As a Security Officer Screening Monitor in Edgerton KS you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more. Join Allied Universal as a Screener at a dynamic tech location where you will help support entry screening activities monitor access points and provide courteous communication to employees and this people-first role you will help identify security-related concerns stay visible and contribute through teamwork integrity and a reliable innovative approach that keeps daily operations running smoothly.

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Screen employees visitors contractors and/or deliveries entering the location while following access protocols and reporting unusual activity.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner and communicate details to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Monitor entry points verify credentials and support visitor management processes to help to deter unauthorized access.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter noting conditions that may require follow-up or additional security-related attention.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
