Jira Administrator
Virtual Vocations Inc
To support a remote Client Experience Team, the contract Jira Administrator will manage user permissions, projects, and workflows while ensuring system reliability and performance across both self-hosted and Atlassian Cloud environments. Key responsibilities Support and maintain Jira and Confluence environments, including user provisioning and SSO integration Automate processes and implement best practices for issue tracking and project templates Respond to service desk tickets and provide user training and technical support Required qualifications 7+ years of experience as a Jira/Confluence Administrator, preferably in a self-hosted environment Proficiency with Jira project/workflow configurations and custom fields Experience with Linux system administration and scripting (Bash, Python) Familiarity with ITSM or agile workflows Strong ability to support users and resolve technical tickets
