Senior Technology Business Systems Consultant

About this role:Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Technology Business Systems Consultant responsible for production and project support for new business development and technical enhancements across ACH, ECS, and Instant Payments. This role will support the project and UAT testing lifecycles, including requirements definition, test scripting and execution, defect identification, triage and resolution, and validation of customer-facing applications. The Senior Consultant will partner closely with Business Analysts, Product Owners, and Technology teams to analyze complex business problems, recommend automated solutions, and support functional enhancements. The role will also serve as a knowledgeable testing resource, lead defect review discussions as needed, provide training and support to user groups, and coordinate communication between business and technology partners.In this role, you will:Evaluate moderately complex business, operational, and technical problems and provide technical assistance in identifying automated systems and procedures that are cost effective and meet business requirementsPartner with business, product, and technology teams to understand objectives and requirements, evaluate challenges, recommend solutions, and prioritize deliverables and target completion datesSupport the full project lifecycle, including planning, execution, monitoring/controlling, and closure, across both Waterfall and Agile projects or work effortsSupport the full testing lifecycle, including planning, analysis, design, test case/script creation, execution, defect management, validation, and closureDefine and document requirements that meet project objectives and participate in review sessions and project meetings to ensure alignment across stakeholdersExercise independent judgment when supporting project plans, schedules, budgets, deliverables, and recommendations for resolving moderately complex business problemsCoordinate communication and information flow between business and technology teams, including reporting project progress, risks, issues, and defectsWork with business user groups and impacted operations teams to provide training, answer questions, understand user needs, document results, and support implementation of technology changesSupport production fallouts through defect leakage, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with business and technology partners to drive resolutionProvide support and guidance to design and testing employees while identifying opportunities to improve or re-engineer technical processesRequired Qualifications:4+ years of Business Systems Data experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, educationDesired Qualifications:2+ years of ACH payment processing experience, including exposure to technology changes and testingDemonstrated experience supporting UAT and testing lifecycles, including test execution and defect managementProven ability to work independently with minimal supervisionWorking knowledge of Mainframe, Agile methodology, JIRA, and HoganStrong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracyEffective organizational, multitasking, and prioritization skillsExcellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skillsAdvanced Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and OutlookJob Expectations:This position offers a hybrid work schedule, 3 days in office minimum with 7-9am start timeAbility to work on-site at the posted work locationAbility to provide after hours support related to code installsThis position is not eligible for Visa SponsorshipPosting Location:600 S 4th St, Minneapolis, MN 55415Pay RangeReflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to demonstrated examples of prior performance, skills, experience, or work location.
