Public Finance Associate

Discover how you can grow with us at Dinsmore has an immediate opportunity available for a public finance associate in the Cleveland, OH; Cincinnati, OH; Columbus, OH; or Pittsburgh, PA offices. We are open to entry-level candidates licensed in Ohio or Pennsylvania as well as those with some experience in public finance or municipal and governmental law. Entry-level associates will be trained and will work closely with our attorneys. Responsibilities include serving as bond counsel, representing lenders, borrowers, and underwriters in a wide range of financial transactions, managing all levels of transactions through to closing, developing best practices, and utilizing all available resources to resolve legal issues and counsel clients. If you have strong general tax, corporate, or transactional experience and are interested in transitioning to public finance, we also encourage you to apply. All candidates should have a strong academic background, be detail oriented, and possess excellent research, writing, analytical, and communication skills. Preference will be given to candidates licensed to practice in Ohio or Pennsylvania, however, out of state candidates who are either willing to sit for the Ohio or Pennsylvania bar or eligible for admission in Ohio or Pennsylvania will be considered. The base salary for this position starts at $172,000 and increases depending on experience and qualifications. Competitive benefits and up to $45,000 + in bonus potential. #J-18808-Ljbffr
