- OVERVIEW: The Hospitality Manager is responsible for the coordination of talent-related dressing room and catering needs. The Hospitality Manager works in conjunction with the Production Director to ensure rider requirements for events are fulfilled accurately and completely. The Hospitality Manager also works with the Event Manager(s) to ensure that all event requirements are on site the day of the event. SPECIFIC DUTIES ARE:
- Report to the Entertainment Director, Chief of Staff and Executive Board
- Maintain a consistent schedule of office hours
- Collaborate with event leaders to evaluate all event logistic requirements.
- Prepare logistic budget proposal for the Entertainment Director's review.
- Liaison with FSA to arrange catering menus and meals.
- Fulfills all shopping requirements for event-related logistical items including food and ensure proper delivery/set-up of items at venue.
- Oversees all set-up and clean-up of logistics-related items and ensures proper storage prior to and following events.
- Must be personable and accommodating within the boundaries of contractual obligations regarding touring personnel.
- Arrange for setup of metal detectors if required
- Attend all SA Staff meetings, trainings and staff activities and complete any preparation work that may be required in advance of such meetings.
- Attend any Entertainment Department meetings
- Complete additional tasks as assigned by the Entertainment Director, Executive Board and Chief of Staff.
- Maintain a professional attitude with sincerity and enthusiasm reflecting SA's commitment to the student body.
- Attention to detail and ability to multi-task
- Ability to work with representatives from different organizations and offices in order to communicate information and develop plans accommodating the needs and desires of touring personnel to the greatest possible extent
- Ability to deal with stressful situations while maintaining professional demeanor
- Meets SA driving eligibility a must.
