Assistant Store Manager

Job Summary: The Assistant Store Manager (ASM) is responsible for assisting the general manager with the day‑to‑day operations of the store while adhering to Global Partner's policies and procedures. Responsibilities Complete required daily accounting paperwork and submit by deadline. Supervise, develop, train, and discipline non‑exempt (hourly) employees, holding them accountable for upholding operational standards. Maintain shift cash handling and inventory controls. Assist in investigations of shortages/overages of $100 per month or less and inventory variations of 0.5% of sales or less. Maintain business records, review cashier accountability sheets, and record prescribed by the General Manager or Territory Manager. Perform banking, invoicing, payroll, and other administrative duties as requested, adhering to all cash control policies. Manage bank deposits and change orders as part of cash management procedures. Maintain Grand Opening Ready Standards and store image standards. Ensure high levels of cleanliness and sanitation. Ensure the store is secure and safe; comply with all safety and environmental guidelines. Report any issues to proper authority and management. Maintain adequate gasoline levels and coordinate deliveries. Engage in company promotional initiatives and promote a high level of guest service. Perform duties as required by company policies and procedures, including the Company Handbook, and any other duties assigned by the General Manager or Territory Manager. Qualifications At least 18 years old. High school diploma or equivalent. 1–2 years supervisory experience. Ability to work independently and in varied shifts, including day, night, weekend, and holiday hours. Strong communication, counting, reading, and writing skills. Basic computer competency. Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license. Ability to work in intermittent temperatures and physically lift up to 25 lbs during a shift. Access to all areas of the store, including selling floor, stock area, and register area. Benefits Competitive salary ranging from $14.15 to $17.15 per hour.
